About This Project

Centennial Park is surrounded by the library, a museum and the Community Center. The addition of this splash pad, the Syracuse I.S.L.A.N.D. (Interactive Splash Lovers All-abilities Native Destination), consists of branching streams, fountains, waterfalls and canyons, an enclosed area for ground seating and additional shade structures on the play area all made possible by grants and donations.

Our Work

Ensign Engineering and Land Surveying provided the site civil and survey services for this project. Design included site grading and drainage design and ADA accessibility. The site utility design included offsite storm drain design to the site, onsite storm drain system design, and sewer and culinary water design to the proposed restrooms and water feature. Ensign also provided construction period services, which included aiding the Contractor in the installation of the onsite utilities and provided construction staking service to ensure the site features were constructed per the proposed plans.
