The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater is a contemporary performing arts venue located in downtown Salt Lake City. Ensign Engineering was contracted to assist the project by providing specialty engineering for the interior and exterior farming. The theater offers 2,500 regular seats, 200 multi-use seating space, and an outdoor urban plaza. Ensign loves supporting the local arts initiatives and helping bring beautiful spaces to life.
Ensign provided specialty engineering to the Eccles project, focusing on the exterior and interior cold-formed steel stud framing. In addition, our team also lent our expertise to the starfield support framing located directly above the main performance hall. Creating a space to enjoy the arts and reflecting the natural beauty of the building was a rewarding project for our team and we look forward to furthering opportunities to create engaging spaces.
