The Star Mill is a historical landmark that needed major restoration. Ensign Engineering was chosen to collaborate on the project, offering our insight and expertise on the latest structural processes. After its completion, the Star Mill became an award-winning renovation project, bringing its rich history up-to-date for all to enjoy.
Here at Ensign, we love every opportunity to partner in the restoration of historically impactful buildings that represent our communities. We worked closely with the site’s owner and our client to restore the historic 1887 Star Mill in American Fork, Utah. Our goal for this project was to preserve the historical look of the old mill, while upgrading it, seismically extending the life of the building for all to enjoy.
