The Utah Valley University Performing Arts Center was made possible by generous gifts from the community, individuals and corporations. This space will be the new Utah Valley hub for fine art performances. The space also creates an opportunity for students and community members alike to showcase and display their art, with traveling shows totaling approximately 120 shows per year.
With 130,000 square feet of performance and teaching space, the possibilities to explore, create, enrich and grow are truly endless. Each unique performance space invites audiences in for an intimate and highly professional arts experience.
Ensign’s relationship with UVU began many years ago and has progressed through a series of campus transforming projects. Over the years we have had the privilege of working with UVU personnel and partnering with many of the best local and national architectural firms, consulting firms, and contractors to create new and exciting environments on the UVU Campus.
On the UVU performing arts project, the grade across the site required us to work with the owner and design team to develop a tiered parking lot with access to the building. In order to ensure the design worked, we worked closely with all design and structural team members to develop the site with exact grading and drainage solutions.
The commitment to working collaboratively was key throughout this project, making sure requirements were met as independent teams move forward with their tasks.
